Racing History: Car mainly raced by Jerry Hansen in 1972 season at Laguna Seca, Minnesota, Edmonton, Blackhawk Farms, Elkhart Lake, WI and Road Atlanta. Car finished first at the 1972 June sprints. Car had many top 10 finishes and finished first at SCCA Runoffs at Road Atlanta in November 1972. Chris Pedersen bought the car in 2007 and after restoring it raced in vintage races beginning in 2008. Purchased by Jeff Green in 2015.

Racing History: Roger Penske purchased the car from Lola. Mark Donohue raced the car during the 1973 season. He finished 2nd at Road Atlanta and 6th at Pocono. Car later sold to Dan Furey. Furey raced the car in the 1975 F5000 Series. Gerre Payvis bought the car from Dan Furey and has owned since 1975. John Cannon raced the car for Payvis at Pocono and was DNF with an oil pump failure. Gerre raced the car in the final days of the F5000 Series and occasionally since that time. Gerre is doing some minor upgrading of the car to get it ready for the 40th Anniversary reunion races in 2008.

Racing History: Car is one of two T332 prototypes built in 1973. Warwick Brown raced car in 1974 in the Tasman Series finishing 6 in the Series. Warwick raced car to a 2nd place finish in the August 1974 Australian Championship race at Oran Park. Warwick also raced car in the USA F5000 series in 1974 at three races in the west coast. In 1975, Warwick race car in the Tasman Series to take the Championship with many first or second place finishes. Car changed hands a few times between 1975 and 1979. In 1979 and 1980, car was raced by Jim Snelling in various SCCA F5000 series races in the USA and was converted to single seat can-am car in 1980. In 1982, Pat Burke reacquired car and did a complete restoration to the original F5000 spec car. George Parlby bought car in 1990 and raced in various historic races in Australia. Chapman Root bought car in 1993 and raced sporadically in the US with appearances at Road Atlanta. Dudley Cunningham bought car in 2006 and is doing a restoration to race car at 40th Anniversary races at Watkins Glen and other race events.

Racing History: Car campaigned by Vel’s Parnelli Jones Racing in 1974 and 1975 and raced by Mario Andretti. Andretti won three races in 1974 at Watkins Glen, Elkhart Lake and Riverside. In 1975, Andretti won four races at Mosport, Elkhart Lake, Laguna Seca and Riverside. Car finished second in the 1975 Formula 5000 Championship. In 1976 the car was campaigned by Skeeter McKitterick. From 1977 to 1980, Rocky Moran raced the car as a converted single seat Can-Am car. This car has been faithfully restored to 1975 specifications by Jim Chapman and John Saunders-Hyde, Team Manager and Crew Chief for VPJ.

Racing History: Car was raced in the 1974 European Rothmans Formula 5000 championship season by Guy Edwards who also raced F1 for Embassy with Graham Hill during the 1974 season. In 1975 Edwards ran the car in the European Shellsport F5000 series and received new sponsorship from Encyclopedia Brittanica and raced the full 1975 season finishing 3rd in the championship. Guy Edwards moved to Formula 1 again in 1976. It was in 1976 that Guy Edwards saved the life of Nikki Lauda in a fiery crash at the Nurburgring, receiving the Queens medal for gallantry. When brought to the US in 1976 body and chassis may have separated with another car also claiming chassis number HU34. Catell built a new chassis for car body identifief with Guy Edwards name in original racing livery under repainted body. Catell and Reiner completed restoration of car by 2005 to original livery. Car returned to racing in 2008 in the Formula 5000 40th Anniversary race at Sonoma Raceway (Sears Point) in May 2008. Reiner has campaigned car in subsequent races at Sonoma with the F5000 Revival Race Series.

Car later rescued and tub rebuilt prior to sale to current owner. Car recently restored by Farthing during 2014-2015 to original F5000 specfications.

Racing History: Car raced by Brian Redman, Vern Schuppan and Alan Jones. Car entered in various races for the 1974 Rothman’s F5000 Championship, 1975 Shellsport F5000 Championship and the 1976 Rothman’s International Championship. The car won the 1974 Silverstone and Oulton Park races driven by Brian Redman. Original chassis 0037 was crashed in practice for the 1976 Watkins Glen F5000 race while driven by Alan Jones (future F1 champion). Car later ended up in Australia and then returned to the US during the 1980s. Car has been completely restored on new tub. Car has been raced more recently with HSR, SVRA, and other historic racing events at Watkins Glen, Road America, Road Atlanta, VIR, etc.

Racing History: Car was Initially campaigned by Larry Harley of Rogers Racing in 1974 for Larry Harley, claimed to be used as a spare by Haas Racing for Brian Redman for balance of the 1974 season. In 1975 and 1976, driven by Bob Nagel in both amateur & professional events throughout the United States. Converted to Can-Am configuration with Riley body in 1977. Raced by Bob Nagel and Howard Kelly through 1979. Sold to Jim Gustafson in 1982 and raced in Can-Am and amateur events through 1984. Sold to Dennis Steinhardt in 1986. Restored to open-wheel formula configuration, and first campaigned in vintage car events beginning in 2002 at Road America and Blackhawk Farms. Car sold to Jeffrey Parsons and shipped to Austraila in 2010.

Racing History: Car was bought by Haas/Hall for Brian Redman to drive in the 1974 US Continental Series. In 1975, it was sold to Bob Bay for Bernie Swanson to drive. Car rebuilt on new tub after crash and driven by Swanson at Mid-Ohio. Ed O’Brien bought car for Danny Ongais to drive in last 3 races for 1975 season. Car shipped to New Zealand by Shayne Windelburn and eventually bought by Roger Williams in October 2007.

Racing History: HU32B is mostly a recreation of the original HU32 which was destroyed in a crash at Road America in 1974. The car was constructed in 1999 by Mel Spillman using some documented parts from the original HU32. Although the car has no period racing history, it did win the 2009 Australian Grand Prix  driven by Tony Richards

More recently raced by Steve Simpson with HSR, SVRA, and other historic racing events at Watkins Glen, Road Atlanta, etc.

Racing History: Car ran for the first time at Road America in August 1976 driven by Derek Bell who was substituting for Alan Jones. Jones drove car in one additional race in 1976. Car later appeared at Surfers Paradise in Australia in 1977 where it was crashed during practice. Marc Rauchfuss currently restoring the car to original specifications to return it to historic racing in the Formula 5000 U.S. Revival Races.

Previous Owners: Team VDS (1976-1979); Alan Hamilton (1979-1980); Bob Minogue (1981-1994); Gavin Bain (1994-1997); Graeme Cameron (1997-2002)

Racing History: Raced by Peter Gethin and Warwick Brown in US F5000 series with best 6th place finish at Riverside. Raced in Australia in the Rothmans International Series by Warwick Brown with mostly 1st and 2nd place finishes. Alan Hamilton drove car in the Australian Drivers Championship also in the second half of 1977 and in 1978 with a couple of 2nd place finishes.  Alan Hamilton crashed and almost totally destroyed the car in September 1978 at Sandown Park. David Abbott bought the remaining pieces of the car in 2002 and completed the reconstruction in 2007, putting it back on track in October 2007.
