Previous Owners: Mike Yanchek, Keith Young, Chuck Haines, John Winter, Kas Kastner/ Jim Brophy, Carl Haas

Racing History: Originally sold by Carl Haas to Kas Kastner of Kastner/Brophy Racing in February, 1971. Car was then loaned back to Carl Haas for reigning Indy 500 and 1970 USAC Champion Al Unser for use in the Questor Grand Prix in March, 1971, prepared by George Bignotti. The loan was in exchange for a new Traco Chevrolet V8 engine. The car was then campaigned in the 1971 L&M Formula 5000 Championship season by Kastner/Brophy Racing with Jim Dittemore as the driver and Max Kelley as the crew chief. Jim Dittemore finished 5th in the 1971 series.

Mead Korwin acquired the car in 2001 from Bud Bennet of RM Motorsports and has run vintage races at various venues including Watkins Glen, Mid-Ohio, Road Atlanta, Waterford Hills, Blackhawk Farms, and the Monterey Motorsports Reunion at Laguna Seca.
